Mark mate sorry to hear that.
I dont know if it is any good but there was a job in the Bristol Evening Post Jobs section last night for a Production Manager at a yogurt factory just south of Bristol. I think it was nights. £30 or £40K though. If you want the details I can dig it out when I get home. I will have a look for anything else.

I am trying to remember more of what was in that ad. You would be in charge of the factory at night and would be in charge of factory maintenance teams etc if I remember right.

I will ask my father if there is anything going at his factory in Bristol. He works for Mathew Clark or what ever they call themselves this week at Whitchurch. He is a maintenance fitter and like you has always worked in food and drink. Its worth a mention im sure.:eureka:

We have a vacancy - it's up north though. Roads are better by far as is the scenery anyway. 18 month contract - pm me for details.

Thanks all
I am sure I will get fixed up somewhere I normally do. This is my 3rd redundancy so far. Thanks Rich, but I am more on the engineering role than factory manager. I served my time as a fitter and subsequently did a hons degree in engineering anyway I will see you a week saturday.

thanks

Mark - sorry to hear about your predicament. Not sure if you fancy either Birmingham or Sommerdale (near Bristol) but I know Cadbury have two factories at those locations - could be worth checking www.cadburyschweppes.com under the 'careers' section.

Hope all works out mate.

Jiminy
