My mate Rob\'s dad.......
 

... used to amuse (and amaze) me with his tales of being a Spitfire pilot in the 2nd World War.

He used to build narrow gauge steam locomotives and was a very good artist prior to his failing eyesight getting the better of him too.

My mate Rob has sat for hours and taken notes of his dad's stories and put a book together about it all.
