Insurance ripoff
 

Just got my renewal notice through from Devitt for my 999. They are quoting £569.89 for fully comp with protected NCD. That's significantly up on last year and the excess has also been increased to £500.

So I log onto the Devitt web site and ask for a quote. They quote £426.22 fully comp, protected NCD, ride other bikes and excess £450.

So where has the £143.67 difference gone?

Biketeam (0870 897 7733) have managed to find same cover for £385.

mmmmmmmmmmm the saving is, if you do all the work,the computer says "YES" for a bloody change!

What do you get on the new on-line quote system at insuremyducati?

Chrisw - I think you clicked the link below which is for under 25's on bikes which are not sports bikes - e-mail on its way to you.

Budget have done exactly the same to me for the last two years. They always honour the lower quote though.
