why do you race dd im racing with you lot this year because i read the aritical in the MCN has anyone else got into it through this way. |
I came to DD because it's seemed to be the cheapest way to race a Ducati... and my life is all about my familiy, my friends, and Ducati :D But then I'll stay as long as I can afford it mainly because of the people... |
I love the sound and feel of Ducati and also the people that are the DSC and Desmodue. |
It was a cheap racing option that meant we could both race this year instead of just Couch going out :) We've never owned Ducati's before and didn't know many people in the club, but since we've joined we've met some great people and I think it's that which will keep folks coming back to race again. Turns out Ducati's are OK too...well, when mine works anyhow ;) |
I originally joined the club when I was thinking about getting a 600SS road bike, then ended up deciding to do DD after going to half the rounds last year and figuring I'd end up going to them all this year so might as well join in. |
Joined to save some money but still wanted good close racing just a lot cheaper than 'normal' club racing. Also the rules are pretty strict so we are all on 99% identical bikes. It's worked out quite well :) |
Gave me a chance to get out on track with my bike giving racing a go. Wouldn't do it with any other bike :) |
coz I've got sod all else to do on wet weekends in March!!!! ;) |
After a miserable race season in 2004 where I managed 3 race meetings (One consisting of 3 race laps) along with the ZXR400 I planned to race in 2005 getting written off on the final lap of the 2004 lightweight, I was left with two choices pack up racing or do DD. Thankfully I choose DD and last year more than made up for 2004 |
Because of this, And the bike came away better than I did.:o |
