PC HELP!!!
 

I cannot access my 2nd hard drive

When ever I try to access it with explorer the message appears

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error
Program C:\windows\explorer.Exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

What does this mean ? and how do I resolve it

Hiya marra,

Is the drive physically running - can you hear it???

Have you tried accessing it via DOS at all (you might at least be able to see a file structure).

otherwise...its been a long day - sorry!

Frank,i can still access it,fully.Just that this run time error comes up everytime.if i close the error box down,it shuts down the explorer window showing my drive files.If i leave the runtime error window open,i can access all my files.

SORTED!!more by luck than judgement.I had a corrupt folder(not virus,just corrupt).Deleted it and hey presto,all working.Phew.Time for bed now.It is 1am!!:(:mad:
