Air filter for a 998s I still have the stock air filter in my 998s ... 1) is this worth replacing ? 2) With what? - ITG / K&N/ Pipercross ? Ps 50mm Termis fitted .... Thanks |

I have the BMC filter and before an undertank crap. I haven't yet rolling road it, but the difference is unbelivable. It's so smooth and it accelerates faster now. (ducati 916) |
Cipi, difference is the injectors on the 998 has a shower araangement so the under tank filter is not the best or easiest to fit. I have used the opipercross ones in the 996, 748 and the 998 and never had a problem but then again never had em on a rolling road to test em. |

This was the "K&N" type I fitted at the same time as I fitted a C/F air boc & C/F air tubes. I found these were the best, and by far, the less restrictive. regards |
