Another quickquestion On a 2000 monster 900 , how much clearance should there be, between the sprocket/cush nuts and the chain adjuster end-plate? |

Thans for that. That is similar to the one i was looking at last night.I thought that maybe there was a spacer missing. But there is not. Found that if the wheel not aligned 100% then the nuts can kiss the plate. |
This is true, but youd have handing issues if off that much. |
Its actually the sprocket nuts that make contact first My brother inlaw fitted nice (well he thought so) coloured nuts to his early monster and they marked the swinger. Not much clearance there at all. Regards DaveO |
