Raising the rear height on the old Monster frames...

Can I do it using the standard bolts between the arc and the swinging arm? Will that be enough for a race bike?

Anybody near Dorking has got spare banjo bolts?

Bike is noooooooooooooooooot ready...

There are spacers for the 888 (same hoop I think) that screw into the bottom of the hoop and then the rose joints screw into the spacers. Lift the back end by about 20mm I think.

You come across them on eBay - try an eBay search on 851 and 888

Cheers Jools, will have a look at that :)

Mines having a bit welded onto a new hoop as my rose joints are screwed out far enough already.

I've got rich's spacers on the beast (well he did build it)
They are really easy to fit, the only down side is that they are about 25mm long so they give quite a step up in ride height from standard with no adjustment inbetween
