prob a daft question about termis..but
 

i bought a pair for my 996 bp from ebay cos it was cheaper than getting mine re sleeved,when i compared them the ones i bought(off of a 998) although they fit fine are a little shorter...how comes??????? the bike runs absolutely fine

998 has the Testastretta (sp?) motor - different external dimensions and probably different positioning of the exhaust outlet - probably means that the downpipes and link pipes are all different as well so, this might explain the difference in silencers.

thanks for that,they seem to fit fine and i took it out yest and it rode lovely,far better than when the old termi was split!!!!haha
