Brembo P4/34 calipers for 4s

I've decided to replace the standard calipers on my 4s with the 4-pad/4-piston jobs from the 998s/999 - anyone know a good source (supplier/breaker/whatever) for these? Also, will I need to change the master cylinder?

thanks
Richard

They're "only" £135 or so new, including the pads. Secondhand ones would probably need pads at £50 ish per caliper so they;re pretty good value.
Your standard master cylinder will be fine.
Mail me if you need any more info ;)

And they are well worth having. I got JHP to fit some to mine 7,000 miles ago-awesome brakes.

Thanks - having ridden the 998s and 999, I'm hoping for the same brick wall effect as an upgrade :) I see Harris are doing them for £135 each, plus VAT

Update: The DP catalogue lists them at £200+VAT the pair, including pads and hoses. Bargain.

cheers

Are these the calipers alternatively known as 'Goldline'? been noticing a few of those coming up on ebay.

The real check is to make sure......

......that they're 4 brake pads per caliper.
Most of the available Brembo calipers will be four piston per caliper, but its the 4 pad / 4 piston ones that you need.

I'd fitted these to my SPS and they are fantastic - then after that, fit a race type master cylinder, and it'll be like shoving a plank of wood through your front wheel!!!

We've fitted them to our S4 and they're brilliant!

Only problem we've encountered with them though is that they might warp the 'fixed' floating discs, as opposed to the fully floating cast iron jobbies.

We run the P4 calipers with cast iron floaters and they really are the legendary 'one-finger-braking' that other set-ups lack.
