For an old git like me it reminds me of what proper motorbikes used to look like. So if you're anywhere much beyond 40 or so it'll probably hit the old nostalgia nerve dead on, and I think it's gorgeous.

Of course it won't appeal to the hardcore sportsbike fans, but it's not that type of bike. It's just the thing for style concious 40 somethings (which is generally where all the money is) to look cool on, with an open face Momo lid, ride it in jacket and jeans for you and the missus to pootle down to the pub of a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Just powerful enough and good handling enough to get the juices flowing without being mental. If I had the money for that sort of bike, I'd have one like a shot....well...that or a Moto Guzzi Griso 1100 (for the same type of bike).

I think it looks good in the bottom "Da Vinci Code" style photo. I reckon it would look good when you've got some decent retro jkt etc on.

I'm with Fiscus. The lines dont flow, and what about the huge gap between the rear wheel an the seat? looks like wheels are too small or they could not source the right length shocks. Side panels are too small, and what is the shape of the fuel tank all about. Yup its an ugly pig, shame because some of the details are nicely done.
It will probably end up as a police bike for the italian police force.

Not making any comments on the styling, it's all a matter of personal taste.

It was interesting to watch a team of Japanese riders using these modern "classic" type bikes at the Assen Dutch Ducati Club meeting. They were really giving it large and although on closer inspection were far from bog standard still very impressive to watch.

I'm with you doogalman. I like it from the rear shocks forward but the gap between the rear wheel and seat/mudguard looks ridiculous. They should have fitted a full length mudguard to help cover the gap and/or extended the side panels like the old 860GTS.
