newbie Hi Guy's, after many years wanting it finally happened, i bought a (new + a bargain ) duke, however it appears to be the rarest Ducati ever built a 1000ss..... Are there any more lucky owners out there???? At the mo i'm doing the easy bit...enjoying (give or take ....i love this summer weather...GGrrrrrr) but any advice etc for the future???? turbo's ...streetfighter look....only joking. Any pointers appreciated...already noticed the lights leave a tad to be desired.....:o |

Yes I do indeed have one and I love it! They are rare though you're right Ducati dont seem to really push them have no idea why as I think they are great bikes. Lots of grunt, sound and look great and great fun to ride although uncomfortable after a long spell in the saddle. Had some electrical problems in the first 18 months all repaired by Ducati under warranty. Ive added some bling - fabulous set of cans by Two Brothers Racing, K&N filter and recently a nice double bubble screen. Its not a superbike though but for the price/package its a great bike, much better than any jap 600 IMHO... |
