Big Up to Madmav

More later, but just wanted to say a big thank you to Madmav who organised one of, if not the best biking weekend I have ever been on. Keith you are a star and the only person I will ever use for a bike trip in future.

Henners 30-May-2006 10:03

Here Here

Keith - you are a true professional, constantly watching, leading, and ensuring everyone has a great time. Your attention to detail and the huge experience you have made the whole trip magic, the calm way you dealt with any problem, changed things to suit the mood of the group, the constant brilliant banter at every stop and your all round common sense in dealing with such a large and diverse group of people was totally spot-on.

Also a big up to the group - the memory of following you guys up a long twisting mountain pass, hearing the Termis boom across the valley, and holding a continious line of 15 bikes through yet another long smooth empty bend will stay with me forever.

Thank you all for an excellent weekend :)

Still Grinning

Biking Nirvana does exist - the sound of a multitude of v twins thundering up and down endless miles of high quality tarmac and through countless bends of such excellence, surrounded by stunning scenery - I thought it only existed in one's dreams. As for the Ring, still speechless...

AND a very big thanks to Keith - my 999r was the only one that finally succumbed to the semi-drowning we experienced both on the outward trip (6 hrs of constant rain - nice) and coming home, only a few miles outside Dunkirk after yet another deluge. Ferry about to depart but not a thought of leaving me, Mav was utterly cool under fire and with the help of several gallons of wet start, we made it....just.

Incidentally, the middle 2 days were dry and relatively warm and how ofton does that happen at the weekend between weather of incomparable drossness? Could it have been that top man again?

Best trip ever for me... Richard.

clint 31-May-2006 09:14

I would just like to say a few thank you's.

Tim for originally suggesting this trip.
Chris for making us pull our fingers out and actually doing the trip.
And for Mav who supplied us with biking heaven.
Mav your a gem. Your attention to detail and advice on the surrounding roads and the ring were a great help.
Also to all the guy's on the trip. Good laugh's and great company.

Thanks
Clint.

Mav for being Mav & leading us on great roads
Webby for making it happen
Richard for the cover moment ;) & saying I'm smooth on the road :D
Mike for letting me share his Dover room and putting up with my snoring for the whole trip! :D
Henners for leading me round a damp and slippery ring.........
Roy for the best save I've ever seen....and the mad laughing fit I had from that moment all the way to the hotel (cold, wet and almost delirious at this stage)

And all the rest for the craic...........twas a pleasure!!!
