New to the board Just wanted to take a moment and say hello to the members of the board. If you don't mind, I'll be signing on from time to time to say hi and ask questions. I'm in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. and am riding a '98 900CR with a few mods on it. Cheers! Jeff:burn: |

Hi Jeff, great to have you on board. Lots of 'SS' fans on here and the forum is quite active especially as we also run our own race series for the '600' class. Info and pics of your machine most welcome. . |
Welcome to the board Jeff, as Frank says a few pics and spec of the bike would be nice. We don't have the CR model over here that I know of so interested in how it differs from other 900SS models. |
2 Attachment(s) My Duc (Duke on your side of the pond?) is a 1998 900CR, which is basically the last year that the Supersport was carb'ed. I have a couple pics that I need to resize to fit on the forum, so I'll try to get that done soon. It has the half fairing and the front forks are the non-adjustable Marzocchi's. The swing arm is also steel. I've done some mods since I bought her in '99 as follows: Keihin FCR 41mm carbs, Ohlins rear shock, Marchesini mag rims, Sargent saddle, Zero gravity windscreen, Heli bars, Napoleon mirrors, Yoyodyne slave cylinder, removed smog equipment, 39 tooth rear sprocket and race tech springs in the forks. I think that's it. I'll post soon with some pics...time to head to bed! Best regards, Jeff PS. I forgot about the Remus carbon slip on exhaust. Here a re a couple pics. Hopefully, I resized them correctly. |
