California Cycleworks - any experiences?

They have some lovely race-oriented bling for my 800ss and the exchange rate is extremely favoourable atm so I fancy having a splurge.

I think that's where Mort and Nelly got the testarossa heads for Bloo Duke from

twpd 30-May-2006 19:47

Yeah...I've seen them. I was thinking they might be just the job for building a hot snot 800 for Thunderbikes...some lads on a forum in the USA are reckoning that 95bhp is within reach on an 800 with those heads. Meanwhile...I best curb my ambitions and direct my attentions to Minitwins instead for the time being

A few of us bought the cheetah rearsets on the "sale-board".

The prices are good (especially with the exchange rate), quick delivery, well packaged and friendly service. The only problem is that you will get hit with the tax when it gets over here.

I bought a set of FCR41s off Chris at CC. He couldn't have been more helpful. A good tip for avoiding the tax is to have it delivered to a ltd company at your address as they often don't bother charging VAT knowing that you'll claim it back later. Not that I said that. Or have ever done it. Ever.

doh! Where were you when I needed you Ali?!

Useful tip Ali - thanks. Looks like the credit card is gonna get bashed again. lol

I've had excellent results with CA Cycleworks and Chris always answers tech questions regarding the products that he sells. Highly recommended!

Cool. That's good enough for me then. Cheers!
