Ducati 600ss Class B DD bike 5 Attachment(s) The time has come to sell my trusty DD bike. I don’t have the time (or money) to go racing at the moment and the DD bike is not getting the outings it needs. It’s a great little bike and in the right hands has the potential to win...obviously not in my ‘driving miss Daisy’ hands but someone with talent. I bought it as a road bike and my good friend Gav Brooker and I completely stripped it and then re-built it with no expense spared (to be fair, Gav supplied the knowledge, I supplied the cheque book). I think I spent about £7k in total to give this little bike the best components possible. The engine was totally rebuilt with every bearing replaced by Rich at Louigi Moto, what he doesn’t know about these engines isn’t worth knowing. It’s all totally Legit and will pass ANY scruitineering. And it still has a V5 in case anyone fancies a nice little cafe racer project. I did all the races in 2010, 4 races in 2011, 2 races in 2012 and a couple of track days since. It’s had 2 lowsides but both were just cosmetic scratches and bent levers, no frame, engine or fork damage. There is a dent in the fuel tank which was done in the trailer...typical! Other than that, it could do with a belt change and it’s good to go! Bike on it’s own £1,500 or with the spares £1,700 Email me at; paul@fathomcreative.co.uk Or text me on 07887 961 028 ENGINE and drive 585 cc engine rebuilt with every bearing replaced by Louigi Moto for the 2010 season The engine has done 14 race meets and about 4 track days since Last time it was on the dyno it made 52bhp Dynojet stage 2 External fuel filter Domino QA throttle MWR air filter and open air box Bespoke underseat exhaust with 1098 Termignoni carbon fibre end can Tzubaki chain Renthal Sprockets Electrics Race loom Dyna coils Bosch battery Scitsu rev counter Suspension Maxton rear shock, built specifically for this bike Maxton internal front forks Brakes Brembo twin disc front Brembo P4 calipers Hel brake lines IRC master cylinders with folding levers Brembo rear master cylinder Brembo rear caliper Chassis and bodywork SS frame, powdercoated ‘titanium silver’ Lightweight alloy swing arm off a 900ss Lightweight Brembo wheels (the spokes taper out towards the rim) SES rearsets SES Sharks fin SES Clip-ons Race fuel cap SES Engine/frame crash bungs Speedymoto front spindle crash bungs Carbon fibre front mud guard Ricambi Weiss Ducati 1098 modified seat unit QB Carbon, desmosedici style fairing The bad points The fuel tank has a dent in the side (fell over in the trailer) The belts could do with a change Spares etc. Paddock stands front and rear CTEK x5800 battery conditioner Renthal sprockets sizes 44, 45, 46 and 48 Sprocket carrier Brembo lightweight wheels with Brembo discs (They have Pirelli Supercorsa tyres on them) Ricambi Weiss 1098 fairings |
