Viper can for 600ss?
 

Is anyone using a Viper exhaust on their SS ?

If so did it fit easily and what sort of dB reading did you get at CC, please?

i did last year and it was 109dba at 8000 revs which is peak power( 600ss)..i failed the noise test and had to fit a baffle killer which then took me down to 101dba.........

On race day at 4500 revs i was at 97dba..........

Was it a brand new or a used can?

brand new....fitted before the race season...so perhaps 3 meetings and 3 trackdays old....

I wonder if it was loud 'cos it was on a 675?

I don't reckon I'll get a chance to get to MHP before Oulton t/day so I might go for a Viper and see what happens.....

Paul if you need those end baffles or other bits that i have a selection of, you can try them mate.

By the tone of this thread it would seem that Oulton suffers from the same "Nimbies" that Castle Combe and Donnington are suffering....and is therefore hot on noise...no? I'm off to Oulton on Wednesday 21st for a track-day...so will I be in big trouble?

Dunno about Oulton, it's just that my 104dB was "generously" measured......and it will only get louder as the can continues to collapse!

Nope.....

28th June full (except novices...and you know I'm too much of a gentleman to go in with that lot, don't you?), and as I havn't so-much as spectated at the place thought I'd go up simply to see which way I have to turn! We all know what happened when I went to Cadwell Park last year and didn't know one end of it from another...eh?

Anyone else want to come along to witness records being set (not) or join in the fun....I'D LOVE TO SEE YOU THERE!
