Wrist broken,How long to fix Officially broken apparentley.Even more wizzed off. Ah well its only taken me "28 years" to break something. Don,t hurt mind and luck a even bigger donkey with a cast on.Good jod ive got a angle grinder! Anyone got any personal experience of recovery times riding etc. Trackday booked for 2 weeks, race in nearly 4 |
8 weeks. |
Last year I broke my left radius. It was split lengthways from the wrist back, about 3-4 inches. I raced 5 weeks later, but it took that long for me to pull the clutch in (plus plenty of painkillers). Don't rush it, and do do the physio - I didn't and I now have restricted movement of my left wrist/arm. Good luck mate :) |

Good job y'r right handed then.lol |
At least the physio exercises for a broken wrist will put a smile back on your face. ;) Track day in two weeks is pushing it but strapped up should be good enough to race on in four weeks. :D |

Are you calling me a wan.... |
I don't think he was but I will if that's what turns you on. |
broke my wrist a year ago,had to hve it pinned & wired.was in cast for 4 weeks, then pins out, then cast for another 2 weeks then start again, took about 4-6 weeks to get strength back to ride/work again.lots of supplements on market in holland & barretts,i doubled the dosage. |
Terrible news Griff. :( Best bet is supplements and to completely avoid using it until you're sure there's bone growth. I'd keep the race entry in, just make sure you notify NE in writing by the friday before if you want to cancel and you get the lions share of your money back. Crap luck, you have my sympathies... |
Hay Griff thats such bad luck. Keep your chin up mate. |
