Service time !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right my 998bp is due its two year service next month, and as my local dealer is no more i will have to travel to Dublin or might go over to England get a service and a weekend away

Or i might just trade it for a jap bike till i can afford my 998R

What is everyone paying for their two year service ie belts etc

I payed 390 last time , looking on Ducati Glassgow's site they are looking 600 !!

I had a major service this year - everything done apart from belts (as they were done end of last year) and it cost me over £700! Included new clutch plates though.... And it did feel like a different bike when i got it back to be honest

£750 with belts for 24m service but included new clutch and basket and some additionla bits, not sussies tho that was additional

depends how many miles you've done..

get a specialist dealer to do it, not one that will just go by the book but one that does what your bike actually needs.

have a look at http://www.motorapido.co.uk/ducati%20servicing.php

They offer 2 services, if you have done 12000 miles + its one, if not, you dont need the forks stripped and cleaned so you dont pay for it.

These guys there reckon that the fork oil doesnt need changing until 3 years if you havent dont the miles.

My bike had only 2000 miles at 2 years old so there were a few more things that didnt need doing so i didnt pay for it. thats why specialist dealers are worth travelling for and talking too.
