748R rear wheel Could anyone suggest why the rear wheel on my 748R has almost zero 'free-wheel' ? I noticed that whilst it was on a paddock stand and I happened to spin the wheel, not only was it tight, but wouldn't maintain any momentum at all. The chain is correctly tightened and nothing else seems amiss....Any ides ? Some kind of dry bearing maybe ? Thanks |
binding rear brake? chain too tight? |
Does the paddock stand shaft rotate on a bearing??, if not that will be the problem as the rear wheel won`t be able to rotate freely. Chris.:burn: |
thanks guys..... The chain is fine, and the brake seems to work as it should. I'll check the paddock stand....... |
good point - use the sidestand and tip it over onto the stand and front wheel so that the rear wheel is off the deck - give it a spin then |
