Help uploading photos Just got my photo's back from Mugello and trying to put them up. Firstly I'm a Mac user (latest Imac withs OSX 10.4 and not an ounce of pc software in sight) and NOT a major computer enthusiast at that. My photos are coming out well over the recommended 200kb from the discs that came with the photos, so I tried to save them as if it was a tiff, this came well under then (any suggestions what is best format, tried jpeg 2000 but this was just over the 200kb). Not sure how to get the pixel range down to size as they are also over the limits, maybe if I can get the pixel range down I can save them as jpeg 2000. Any techno bods out there who know what they are doing, please advise. |

Hello some info maybe of help When preparing images for online distribution, it's useful to specify image size in terms of the pixel dimensions. Keep in mind that changing pixel dimensions affects not only the size of an image on-screen but also its image quality and its printed characteristics--either its printed dimensions or its image resolution. I managed to cowboy my way through it and I've loaded some pictures into my gallery. I'll try to maximise the pixel size and the amount of kb's to get a sharper viewable image next time, but for a first go they're ok. Can anyone advise how you attach a photo into the Post's section, rather than me sticking up an add here and then telling people to go to the gallery to see what I've stuck up for you to laugh at. |
