Laptop and dvd's techy question I have a Toshiba Satelite Celeron 1333 laptop with 347MB of RAM.It will play dvd films but they are jumpy/stop start. Is this a cpu,RAM or graphics card problem. Is there a reasonably priced fix? Thanks. |
Nobody got anyhelp?I suppose the way the message board is at the moment, none of you are much good anyway!!;) |
Apart from surgesting a reinstall in your O/S, some laptops do it a mate's dell did god knows why could be anything? HTH |
I don't think it is th O/S.I have a tv card/adaptor.It is the same with that.Perfect picture, but jumpy. As if the pc can't keep up with the signal. It would be nice to know where to start!! |

Hmmm to me that would then sound like a graphics card issue has the TV card been a new addition or has anything changed recently concerning your graphics? Meeting my mate who has that laptop with the same issue tonight i'll ask him. I'm sorry for being so vague i'm really clutching at straws atm. |
I've always found celerons dog slow regardless of how much ram they had. suspect its just not a fast laptop. how old is it? |
Sorted. It needed a Bios and grphics download update. |
