What do you think carbon wheels

Hi all. thinking of getting some carbon wheels. I have at present the ones which came with my 996r marchensini brembos.

Is it worth me getting the carbon fibre ones, ie will I tell the difference. Unsprung weight, albeit ive been told mine are light weight also. Thanks.

Unless you're a BSB rider, you'll only notice it in your wallet.

However, if you're considering it, you must be able to afford it - so why the hell not? :D

My 2p ;)

Avoid potholes, make sure you have enough air in your tyres and get a good tyre fitter!

Some places won't touch them when it comes to changing tyres.

i loved them on my 748.. it felt like it had an extra 10 bhp, but that was a change from three spoke to carbons...
i agree be carfull when changing tyres and dont use too much tyre soap as the tyres can and do turn on the rims if you use too much ( i speak from experience!!)
if cost is an issue dont bother ..... if not go for it.. :)

I have the Dymag carbon rim with mag centre wheels.
I got them after having full mag marvics.
cant say as I real noticed the difference in them when riding.
its certainly not like the difference you get when changing from standard to mag wheels.
but they get plenty of attention. so what the hell :D
