Terrific display by Italy tonight to beat a very good German side!

They shrugged off their rep for being boring and defensive, and really took the game to Germany, shading the first half. Although Germany were probably stronger in the second, the Italians came out fighting in extra time (no doubt spurred on by the Germans' legendary success at penalties :rolleyes: ), and hit the bar twice in the first few minutes.

A great match, played overall in a very good spirit.

Pity they still manage to be the kings of cheating.If i was an Aussie i would be gutted that the cheating ****s have got to the final.:mad:

There wasn't too much sign of cheating by either side tonight in a terrific match, for which the Germans also deserve a lot of credit.

The Aussies, like the English, have no-one to blame but themselves for their departure from the tournament.

If England cannot win I want Italy to. They are so much better when they actually play instead of defending.

Hate Bartez so don't want France to win.

I want Portugal to get stuffed so I can see that cheating f### Ronaldo ball his eyes out again. I look forward to that and seeing Rooney knock his block off.....
