Theft at Croft

http://www.rizla-suzuki.co.uk/pages/...l.aspx?nid=427

Looks like someone was busy last night!!

Felix 05-Jul-2006 13:17

Fukcing ****e! I do hope they catch the *******s (and find mine in the same shed!).

twpd 05-Jul-2006 13:23

That is shocking and a poor indictment of security at the circuit. You would think that they would be better than that when major professional teams are at the circuit.

Mr C 05-Jul-2006 13:54

Thats rotten. hope they are dumb enough to try to sell the parts on ebay.

philthy 05-Jul-2006 16:49

Given the bikes value I think if they were mine I'd have had someone with them all night. Cheaper than a £10,000 reward?

The lengths the other teams will go to...

Ray 05-Jul-2006 17:10

Theres been a few trackday/race bikes nicked from B&Bs/Hotels around Croft.

Generally speaking trackday/race bikes have little or no security on 'em, easy pickings.

I doubt Rizla had 'em fastened up to a ground anchor or had anything datatagged or the like.

Maybe the teams need to get some mascots, a Rizla Rottweiler or Airwaves Alsation, I'm sure the mascots would show their loyalty to their team and be only too willing to welcome late night visitors into the team garage.

Ray.

At the same time is this not a bit like nicking the Mona Lisa? Surely the stuff is such a one-off that it'll be difficult to shift on without leaving a trail?
