trackday slick tyre pressures

i have a pair of michelin pilot slicks to use for track day, do these run at same pressure as id normally run my track compound supercorsa's or whta pressure should i run at.

thanks in anticipation ......

so no one knows huh?
i guess il just ask the tyre man when i get there then!!!

I'd run them the same as my normal track pressures and just monitor them, and adjust as neccessary.

If there is a tyre man there, then it would make sense to have a word in his shell like too.

Something around 30psi +/- 1psi front & rear, would do the trick I would think.

It's all a matter of heat in the tyre..
Slicks works best around 70Celcius, so try to run a few laps and then measure the work temperature.. If you get in the pit, and its above 50 you should be fine with the 30psi (cold). If it's to low let some pressure out 2psi or so.
No need to ruin the tyres, they last longer..

I'm running 1,9bar rear and 2.0 front...

If it's to much trouble, stick with the 30/30..

I was taught recently that you want a 5-7 psi increase from cold pressure to warm. Set your pressure in the morning then do a "normal" session to get the tires good and warm and pull in and immediately check the pressure. Should get that 5-7 increase front and rear and you are doing good. If it's less than 5, you have too much air and need to let some out. If it's higher than 7, too little and need to add a little..after they cool down.
