Capirossi's race-winning Ducati to be auctioned.

The Marlboro Ducati Desmosedici GP5 with which Loris Capirossi won last year's Malaysian Grand Prix (pictured) is to be auctioned in Monterey during the weekend of the US GP at Laguna Seca.

After noting the success and professionalism of last year's Monterey Classic Bike Auction, Ducati - which has never before made a MotoGP machine available for this kind of activity - responded enthusiastically to a request from the organisers for a Desmosedici to take pride of place in the 2006 auction.
