air filter frame fixing

Hi Guys,

I've just got a second hand air-filter frame to allow me to remove the air filter box top (I didn't want to chop my lid). It fits nicely over the filter but the original clips are too long to snug it down. I assume the frames originally came with alternative fixing clips? Does anyone have a picture of a fitted frame that they could send me? If necessary I will weld some extensions to the frame so I can use the original clips but will only do that as a last resort.

Thanks,

Keith

I don't think these where ever a standard part so a small drill and tyraps may be required.

Thanks Rob. I went with your suggestion of tie wraps. Took it for a spin last night and was amazed at how much noise it makes with the throttle cracked open. I'm currently undecided on whether its a bit too much though.... Might just have to fit some freely flowing cans as well to even up the noise generation :-)
