Mysterious phone call
 

My direct line in the office just rang.

A voice said "Is that Mr Kennedy?"

I replied "No"

The voice asked "Can i speak to Mr Kennedy Please"

I replied "No, he was assasinated in 1963"

The phone went dead.

What did i say wrong! Did i get the year wrong or something?

I keep getting debt collectors ringing my home number for people who used to have that number. I'd get up to four or five calls per day. I've given up telling them that they have the wrong number, I just say that whoever it is was eaten by cannibals in New Guinea. The calls seem to have slowed down recently.

I too applied and someone phoned me and asked to speak to the Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

I similarly replied (within 0.03 seconds apparently) that they couldn't speak to him as he had been shot by Gavrillo Princip.

I passed that test but after passing all other set tests over a six month period I failed, because while walking through our local shopping precinct I was stopped by a woman with a clipboard and stayed to answer her questionnare. Apparently this would have attracted the attention of other spies as NOBODY ever stops to talk to these women.

You would have passed the test but they will have monitored your activity since and as you have now revealed the test to the general public you will now be deemed Untrustworthy..No further progress.

Such a shame, as you probably would have been the perfect candidate.
