Waddaday ... 2 Attachment(s) Fitted my trackday fairings last night, bit fiddly but got there in the end. Does anyone else hate Dzus fasteners like I do? Anyway, the TD kit looks pretty cool, I reckon, worth the effort. Pics attached (I hope), sorry about the fly-splats. Went out for an early morning run to see how the fairings hang on. Paul on an old Fireblade, Roger on a '03 GSXR Thou and myself - had a really brilliant time on some of the best roads that Sussex and Hampshire have on offer. Felt sharp, confident and dialled in, for the first time this year. Oh yes, some fun was had :devil After getting home, I watched the first SBK , the SS and 2nd SBK races on TV - that second SBK race was AWESOME. All in all, today was like days are meant to be. :D |
That looks like one cold loney place....and what are those indicators/mirrors doing still on???? Really!!!! ![]() |
VanMan, the police insist that I keep the mirrors and indicators on when on the public highway. Most unreasonable. They come off easily enough for the track. Got any posters I could use to brighten up my garage? |
How about this little beauty? ![]() |
![]() Sorry , I was watching Sin City last night (again) and she is one FINE piece of ass... |
Substantial. Hoo yah, that'll do nicely. :D Love that film, brilliant. |
Glad you like em, I thought they were better then the more obvious Sam fox (style) pictures that grace the "average" blokes garage... Oh go on then.... ![]() |

I know this is a grey area, but, I'm not aware of any law that says you have to have indicators and mirrors. If the indicators are fitted then they have to be working, but you can remove them without any hassle. I never run idicators on my bike and remove the mirros when running the track day bodywork. Out of interest, who made the kit ??? Looks like QB stuff. This is my QB track day kit .... |
Where grey areas are concerned, I err on the side of caution. If for any reason the local constabulary become interested in me, i prefer to limit the number of things that might particularly interest them - hence, standard exhaust, standard VRM plate, etc. If I remove the indicators, am I still committing an offence by keeping the handlebar switch for them? As for mirrors, I use them a lot on the road! I don't think it's QB bodywork, I'll have to dig out some old messages to find out who made it. Like the look of your TD kit, but I still can't make up me mind about frame crash bungs ... Edit - my bodywork was produced by Skidmarx, apparently. |
