Samco Hoses ?
 

Has anyone fitted a set of Samco Water Hoses to their 749R ?

I bought a set which contained 6 hoses and fitted all of them apart from one which was a straight pipe about 4 inches long ( There were two of these in the kit, one goes at the bottom of the radiator ) On my radiator I need a large hose which fits to the top of the water radiator which was not in the kit.

Has the normal 749 got a different radiator which the small straight hose that I have left over fits ?

Anyone got any idea ?

Sussed it.

The kit that I was sent was for a 749/749S which uses the straight hose.

The 749R kit is the same as the 999R kit which has a different top hose and a thin overflow hose from the top of the radiator to the back cylinder.
