Tyre changing kit

Hi there,

I am thinking about kitting up for tyre changing at home.

Any of you have done that?
What tools do you need?
What brands do you recommend? I would be doing this slightly on budget but don't want the typical pitfall of buying cr*p and then regretting it.

I suppose that I need:
- Valve key
- Soapy sealant
- Tyre bead breaker
- Tyre balancer tool
- compressor
- Rim protectors
- set of levers to get tyres out.

I addition probably some:
- spare valves
- weights

Question:
- Any how to guide out there?
- Any recommendation on bead breaker and balancer? Abba seem to do some stuff which looks a bit odd? Sparco one looks expensive.
- Compressor - would a £80 / 24l compressor from Clarke do the trick?
- Anybody disposing of the above stuff?

Please let me know
p

I think it all depends on how often your going to use the kit and how much you want to spend.
I managed to get my hands on a 3rd hand tyre remover, so it was just a case of getting a suitable air compressor and a ballance stand from FG

Looks cool but I am not going to change tyres every other morning. Once a month max. So cheaper kit (manual would be better) ... and something that takes less space too!
