Saw my first GT1000DS yesterday
 

I went to Switzerland yesterday, just for the day, to meet the customers for a new project I've just started. A place called Vevey about half an hour by train from Lausanne.

It's only a small town but I saw the first GT1000 that I've seen being ridden along one of the main roads. Metallic grey one, looked very sweet indeed. I would love one as a bike to just potter off down to the pub and pose on.

So which bike of that type is it going to be in Jools' fantasy garage...GT1000...Moto Guzzi Griso....GT1000....Griso....oh what the hell I'll have 'em both.

PS: Since I don't actually have a garage I suppose the first fantasy for the fantasy garage would actually be a fantasy garage.

The new "Sport" was as common as muck at the Ducati Fest at the nurburg ring a couple of weeks ago!

I used to live in Switzerland for a while, down the road is Martigny nice art museum and there is a glacier not far away that does skiing all year round if your there next time with time on your hands.

not too sure about the GT1000, but if they make a Sport Classic Darmah - I'm in
