Warm the grips up with a hot air gun to get them nice and pliable. Make sure the bars are very clean and dry - apply some bar/grip adhesive and then slide the grips on with a turning/twisting motion. Wipe of any excess adhesive immediately and allow 24hrs to set...the last bit is very important.

Before you slide the grips on make sure you know exactly where you want to position the grips - mark it on the bars with a black marker pen.

Brake Cleaner!

Works as an excellent lube and then dries leaving them stuck in place nicely.

i always fit new bar grips, dry with compressed air.

Plain water mate. Worked a treat on mine. If you need a hand you can give me a shout.

Bike degreaser works ace, evaporates too leaving grips nice and tight.

Don't ask me how I know this, but a small spray of hair-spray works a treat.:o
