Does anyone know where i can buy some engine paint for my 748r?

Halfords (ewwww !) - sell heat resistant paint at a fair price for alloys and other metals. They even do that exhaust manifold paint that's supposed to be as hard as nails . . . nails in oven gloves . . . nails in oven gloves made of asbestos. I don’t think it’s as good as the stuff on the B2 Stealth Bomber, but will most probably last better than the default Ducati stuff.

Do you mean the grey colour that the clutch and alternator side cases are painted?

If so, contact RS Motorbike Paint on 01226 203608. From memory the colour you want is "Ducati Engine Grey". I've used it many times and it's a damn good match to OEM.

If you're planning on stripping back to bare metal and respraying, don't forget to order a can of etch primer as well.
