600ss queries?

Can anyone tell me what the std rear shock is on a early 600ss. I have a Boggy one fitted which looks to be off a 748? Also what is the std lenght.

thanks.

From what I recall the standard 600SS shock is about 330mm with the later SSie shocks being 335mm long, my Hagon shock is 7mm longer than my original 600SS shock

the Ohlins DU235 shock for the 900SS is 328mm +12mm, when fitted to a 900SSie its +5mm and -7mm as the standard injection shock is 335mm between mounting centres.

As I have just fitted a Ohlins to the 750SSie I will be able to try it at anything up to 340mm but so far have it set for 335mm while i try to sort the rest of the bike.
