TP's Belated Track Attack Thank You's ... Hi :) I owe a number of people a few thanks so ... First of all I'd like to thank Chass for bailing me out and lending me his 916 to use for the two days. Unfortunately I had to sell my bike last week so I was left a little short and Chass stepped in. I've never ridden a 'big' bike around Cadwell before so that was pretty cool actually, I had a good time :) It's amazing how much a circuit 'changes' when you have 45-50 more horsepower than you've had there before! Second up is Monty for asking me to instruct on the two days. Monty asking me to do this meant I could actually go, otherwise I would have had to hear all about it on the web so thank you to Monty :) Thirdly, Lizzie for the brilliant organisation and company (although I didn't get to hang out with you guys that much, sorry) and big hugs :D WJB for the briefings and for running the 'Instructor Show'. Also to the other instructors, Butch, Yeti, Monty and I even saw Skids with a bib on at one point?! I really enjoyed instructing so thank you to all those who asked me to help them, I hope you all got something out of it. Thanks to you all for the standard of riding. We had a few minor hiccups but on the whole there was lots of consideration on the track and few fallers. Nice one. Thanks to Butch for the oinker with a rod up it's butt and dessert. Nice work! It was good to meet more new faces and camp out with a few beverages with the Twickers massive, Chass and Alec, Fordie's crew with Phil, Kelly, Sarah, Mike and Jools, Tim and I'm sure many others that I've missed. I thought Sarah's firey show was pretty cool too, I'm surprised she's still got long hair after practicing for that ... Thanks to the Notts crew for the tunes!!! Always a pleasure and never a chore. I walked around the paddock and spoke to many people, too many to remember so thank you all for making it such a great event. A special mention has to go to Ray - you could have left your bloody 998R at home instead of rubbing it in! Bastid! Bring on next year, more of the same please. |
Anytime dude, glad I could help ;) |
:D No worries TP, nearly had me head turned by the DUK S4RS monster, what a grin maker that bike is, there again I 'spose the 998 on 15/43 gearing wouldn't need a front wheel either:lol: Ray. |
Glad oyu enjoyed the pig Skippy, the pigman did us proud! Wish i could have found a nice bike to take round! Butch |

:D A nice bike eh, there weren't many around were there ... although I did see this red and yellow thing but it sounded like it's engine was cut in half ... Bastid! |
Wish i could find one that ran on 2 cylinders, mind you one cylinder made me grin from ear to ear . You could have had the ride instead of me if you'd asked! NOT! BUtch |

Yeah I can just see John handing it over, a £60k bike to someone he's only ever met briefly! "Here you go TP, chuck this thing round Cadwell and tell me what you think..." Hrmmm, not likely! |
I don't get out of bed to ride anything less than £70k so I'm glad I didn't go  |

Stood in the scroot bay as Rick came back on it,beaming from ear to ear ,"the best bike ive ever ridden" says Rick. "i wouldnt know " says I. "Youd best get yer foookin helmet then" says JH Butch last seen sprinting down paddock (passing Linford Christy on the way) "Whats up with you " says the present Mrs Butcher "ive just won the lottery "says I.! Shortly after that there am I riding round Cadwell on a proper Supermono. Chris came up on me at the end of Park thinking to himself "theres john again on the mono only to realise its his oldman on board! Didnt understand the hand signals as he passed me! What a fantastic bike-simply AWESOME! BUTCH |
