Generally have a look on a forum specific to that vehicle as there are different trains of thought for most cars. |
what you bought ??? and just thrash it from the off :) |
Nigel Assuming that you can still get the Berkely 3 weelers, which from your purchase you obviously can, I don`t think you will have to run it in to carefully, those old villiers engines needed a good thrashing! |
Talk to the dealer when you pick the car up Nigel, every manufacturer has differnet ideas about "running in" mate ;) |
Not many cars need complicated running procedures in now days. I had a new VW diesel and all I had to do was keep the rev's below a limit for the first 500 miles or so. Did not need an oil change or "look at" until the automatic service schedule light came on .... 18,400 miles later :o Did drink about 3 ltr of oil in the first 10,000 mile until everything bedded in. |
