I discovered the hard way that just because a pocket has a label saying '100% waterproof' does not mean you should assume it's from the outside in!!

My pocket was full of water and none of it was getting out, unfortnately, so was my phone!!

So I have one very dead phone and can't find where I backed all my contacts up to. Can I ask the folks on here that I have contact with to drop me a PM with numbers so I can save them on new phone.

Disassemble it as much as possible - take the covers off the phone and the battery and SIM out. Leave it all (in pieces) in the airing cupboard for as long as possible (a few days) and it may just survive.

Microwave oven should do the trick!!!!!

i think it's probably a bit late :(

it was swimming completely and even though i dried it as best i could it had to live in bottom of bag for another few days so seems totally dead.
