Front stand for fork removal? Want to get the forks out and send them off for a revalve/service, but haven't got a front stand that'll allow me to do it! What stands are you guys using that allow you to disassemble the front end? |
I use a Harris under yoke stand. Adapters are customed to suit differnt bikes. Great quality bit of kit. |
Don't think my 996 has the hole in the bottom yoke. |

I made a copy of the ducati engine stand. This will support the wseight of the bike enough to do what you want with the front in the air. |

Im too tight to pay for one that I will only use rarely,so a short piece of tube that fits the frame, welded to a piece of box section and a pair of axel stands.Lift the front using under fork leg stand. |
