Steering Damper Go Ping

1 Attachment(s)
Heeelp!! The clamp that holds my steering damper in place went ping today. (See attachment).

Can anybody help in sourcing/machining a replacement? I don't want to have to shell out for a whole new damper.

One half pinged I don't know when, but noticed it a couple of weeks ago. But today it went proper ping and now the whole damper just slides from side to side. A R S E!

Can you not simply have it tig welded? Should be fairly neat and tidy, almost invisible in fact, and cost a few quid.

Have you tried Tecmoto or Casoli?
