I am very grateful for the support I have received and I see that the thread has been closed.

I have been, and continue to be, moderated for publically calling two members of the MT of this club to account for their actions on this message board.

You may argue that the message board should not be used for asking members of the MT to be accountable - I respect that view. I have given the Webteam my undertaking that I will not do so again however I continue to be moderated.

I have also asked the MT to allow me to re-join the club. I have yet to receive an official reply however I have been told privately that my request was refused by a majority vote of the MT - irrespective of any assurance given by the club secretary earlier today I have not received any confirmation that I may re-join the club which I am very keen to do.

It is a great shame that a disagreement between me and the MT has lead to this and no doubt this does raise questions on all sorts of matters, however, here is no longer the place to raise them in my view because of the potential damage to the club. The AGM is not far away and although I can't be there unless I am allowed to rejoin I hope that many of you will make your voices heard there rather than on this message board.

This is a fine and proud club which holds a very dear place in my heart and I am very hopeful it will bloom again in 2007.

And to Henners, fair play mate, a very dignified statement that will hopefully settle people's minds as to what needs to be done and how they need to go about it.

I feel sure we will all respect Henry's wishes in this matter.

Agreed, however by having this post placed up, you Henry are doing exactly what you profess isn't the right thing to do....

Weeksy, I see where you're coming from - absolutely I do - but in this case, the genie was already out of the bottle. The enormous previous thread proves it was an issue with members and I believe that Henry's public statement will allow, if not closure, at least an opportunity for reflection and some behind the scenes movement on the issues concerned.

that's my point though fella. HEnry is saying he wants it all dropped etc,,.... but this post gives the exact opposite...

anyway.... i'm going to watch TV :)

Thereby completely bypassing the moderation put in place and yet again giving Henners publicity whilst letting him show compelete disregard for a sanction.

Just shows to me that he will use ANY means to futher his 'cause' - whatever the hell that is!

I can only say I'm disappointed.
