Sidestand -WANTED
 

Anybody got an old(or new?) sidestand for a 888,Please?

Are they the same as the SS series? Cos I have one of those.

I'll have a nose in the garage and compare them all

Has anyone fitted a non-flip-up sidestand to their 888?

I'm not keen on the standard one, but i'd be petrified of riding off with a non-flip-up one down.

....or has someone managed to install a cut-out ?

You can either cut off the protruding piece of metal that catches the spring that flips the stand back up, or buy one of these;

Or you could simply phone up nelly and ask to buy the standard ducati stand conversion widget, which is about £5

Personally I convert any stand to non-flip up, as the times I've almost had a bike fall over with a flippy stand are way way more than the times I've ridden off with the stand down
