Headlamp fairing fit Hi Just bought a second hand genuine late type headlamp fairing for Mrs R's Monster and am a little confused as to how it fits at the headlamp brackets. Does it fit on the outside or inside. I have tried both but can't quite figure it out, as the moulding features look like it should outside, but in doing so the headlamp brackets are pushed out. If any one can clarrify this, or provide a photo I would grateful. Cheers Allan R |
Ooo blimey I had one and I can't remember - sorry! But if no answer i'll go offer mine up to bike in the morning and let you know :) |
Thanks Lyn. I think the main problem is, I am looking at it from an engineers point of view, rather than fit the the damn thing, I am looking how I think it should fit. RTFM I think. Cheers |

Bloody men  ;) Oooo question for you - know of anyone who needs companion hosses ? |
Bloody Women Sorry not at the moment. Every one seems to have problem horses. The girl in the office spent7K of mums money on a nag with a locking stiful, the other two on our yard are sycotic and my old mares retired due to arthur ritis. I will ask the girl at the tack shop as she is in the know. I assume it is for your lot. Cheers |
My sis is on hand so it's just a way of helping out with the day to day stuff. Both mine are still up to light hacking. Would have took them but 10k each to ship - errrrmmm !!! Plus they too old for jet setting really ;) |
Ouch!! I am not too sure if I would want to put an animal through a journey like that at any age. I am sure they would be happier with familar suroundings. The grass would be dry in Aus any way. |
If it's a ducati original The fairing is mounted off the top yoke where the indicators are on the mk1 and then on the indicators brackets on the headlamp mounting things on the MK2. Does that make sense to you? |
