Outsniped on Ebay

I'm not really happy with converting the 25mm rear Marchi that I have over to a 17mm axle but now it seems, I have to...

Found a lovely 17mm rear Marchi on Ebay Germany.

Top bid up to 7 mins from the end was 167 Euro.

I had a Auctionsniper bid running (that I've only used once before) for 250 Euro but, since the advice on a weekend was not to place the bid within 7 secs of the end of the auction - thats exactly when I set it to trigger.....

Sadly, someone had a better sniper and came in a second later and won the wheel for one lousy Euro more.

OK, so I'd bid to my maximum and lost but, its just to point out how common sniping seems to have become that one can be 'outsniped'!

Back to the garage.

If it makes you feel any better Frank I was sniped over an SS exhaust on Friday night. I was leading bidder at £122 until 5 seconds from the end when-bang-sniped by £2.00!
I have never used an auction sniper but think I may have to try one.

Cheers John - it is annoying isnt it !!!

Here's the one I mentioned - I think you still get a few free bids to start with:

I never used a sniper (wouldn`t know how too)

Just bid the max you think the item is worth, if its more valuable to someone else then they`ll bid more and get it...

I`ve never understood such penny pinching antics...

3 sec delay for me works all the time,as long as i bid high enough obviously.
