Best source for stands . . . Hi guys I am hoping some of you may be able to come up with some good recommendations. I am after some new stands. One single sided wiht roller bearing and one head stock stand so I can remove forks etc. Can anyone recommend any good online sources for some cost effective stands! Thanks Chris. |
Not the cheapest but the Ducati stands are very good. Sparco are a little cheaper but made by FG who make the Ducati stands. Some of the cheaper stands aren't that stable. IMO, it's not worth the risk. For the front stand, no spefics other than Ducati i'm afraid, but what ever you get make sure it's got the bespoke adaptor for the bottom yoke. There's no hole and that will rule out a lot of the stands available. The other option is the Easilift |
Thanks Nelly Has anyone had any experience wiht the Abba stands / lifts? |
I use an Abba stand (on my 750ss) and think its fantastic. Very easy to lift the bike and very secure. Lifts from the swing arm pivot. I do not have a front stand though so can't comment. If you order one mail order set aside a couple of hours to get it out of the wrapping! |
