Hi everyone

Hey gang. Anyone still remember me?

Just thought I'd drop a line. I haven't posted since May '04. The board looks a bit different.

I haven't had a chance to look around to see who's still here. Henners, 4d, WJB, Jools, Dibble, are you guys still around? Hey Fordie, ya know, I still haven't fixed the scrape on the fairing. And now, well, 3 months ago, someone backed into it in the carpark. Another coupla grand down the drain.

I rode a buddies VT1000 last week. If I made a list on paper of all the things about it that were better than mine, I'd say it was a far better bike. BUT... the next day I was back on mine, and... no contest, the duke was, well... Hey, you all know about Ducatis, that's why you're here. Just goes to show, the Japs make a good bike on paper, but Italians make a far better bike on roads.

I miss the rides through the English countryside with about 20 other Dukes, all with Termis roaring (except Henners). The weather here is better, but the riding buddies are few and far between.

Anyway, gotta go to bed.

Merry Christmas everyone, and I'll drop you another line in 2 1/2 years.

Muzza ! How the devil are you...

Yes I remember some spirited rides in the cold and wet. I especially remember the ride out where you still turned up despite dropping the bike on the way there and still rode like a good un...still it gave you chance to have matching fairings with 4D didn't it :D

By the way, who are you?

Hey Jools, it was never wet, was it? In England??? I seem to remember dodging a lot of cow poo, though. Still got the Harley wannabe? (Actually, I'm getting to the age where an ST looks comfy.)

Psychlist, still got the SS? What about you, Fordie? Your avatar does'nt look like an SS. Your panel repair guy ain't that good, is he?

Yeah, Keef, it was a while ago. Fond memories. I wasn't too happy about a half hour before that shot was taken though. Who was the other guy that had the yellow 748 knocked over by the truck wash on the motorway that day? We had a few dropouts on that ride, didn't we.

Thanks for the good wishes Dementor. It'll be prawns on the beach on Christmas day again. The only thing white about Christmas in Oz is my tan.

Are Henners, WJB, Sparky and Dibble still around?
Geez, it's been a while.
