Sorry to hear of your woes Daz, His feedback is good, but then again its all from foreign buyers. He probably hates English amd getting his own back for loosing the war :-) |

Sorry to hijack your thread but I recently ordered a new digital camera of Ebay from a "Company". When it turned up it was a different model then I ordered. What I don't like is that there was nothing to say why it was changed, in fact there was no paper work with it at all. I emailed them and they did reply to my surprise and said that the original stock was damaged and they up-graded the camera. |
Caution should be the main word when buying carbon bits on ebay, I bought several bits from 2 sources when they arrived all of them were made from fiberglass with a carbon look top skin, fit was also lousey. With 1 I used the ebay/paypal complaints section and recived 75% of the money back, (USA seller shipped from France) with the other based in the UK I called him and explained and he refunded the money immidiatley. Most genuine carbon will have a label on the backside which states the part #, date of manufacture etc, if its a carbon/Kevlar mix usually the back is a bronze/gold type weave of the kevlar, if it seems cheap be careful !!! |
