LCD verses TFT monitors Ok, what is the difference etc between a TFT monitor & an LCD monitor?? Being a techno numpty I could do with being enlightened:) Chris:burn: |
The spelling?;) |
Oh,ok: http://www.plasma.com/classroom/what_is_tft_lcd.htm Basically they are both LCD's,but theTFT stands for Thin Film Transistor, and represents a new technology for manufacturing and improving LCD monitors. TFT specifically has allowed LCD monitors to improve display of small fonts without appearing jagged or fuzzy. OK?:) |
Cheers Jasper,:) So i take it that an TFT monitor is better than an LCD one.? Chris:burn: |
They are both LCD!;)But yes,the TFT is the newer technology. |
