Ride magazine & Weeksy's Bike Anyone seen the latest edition of Ride in which they've bought a second hand 916 for £2,750 from DK to strip it down and see what you actually get for the money. Looks like it could be an interesting series. Anyway if you look at the piccies of the bike, you can see "weeksy racing" and visordown stickers on the bottom of the fairings!! So Steve is this your old bike? |
it sure was:) been an interesting thread on VD with it in:) and from the horses mouth: " The 2nd 916 was untouched by me mostly. After i owned it, it went to another VDer who lets say, had a few issues with it. Apart from the slightly tatty bodywork, it was sold totally spot on. I added 2002 forks, Brembo 4 pad 996R calipers and a few bits of carbon. I've actually been chatting to the lads at RiDE this week as we've been tracing the history of the machine. The bike was only ridden on track twice by me, and was NEVER ever crashed. the bodywork/bellypan was fitted by the guy before me, who had it in his garage for 2 years, putting less than 15 miles on it in 2 years. Spannered by me ? Dunno where you get that from, it came with a Full Ducati service history, the last service being taken care of by Cornerspeed in Nottingham." |
